ICCP The YMCA International Camp Counselor Program
The International Camp Counselor Program (ICCP) is one of the programs administred by the International YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater New York. The International YMCA offers values-based programs that have positive local and clobal impact, enhance understanding of the world, and enable people to work together towards peace and justice. ICCP was established in 1959 as a cultural exchange program, and is recognized by the United States government. ICCP works closely with a selected team of recruiters in over 80 countries to identify qualified counselors and camp staff members. ICCP works to add an international components to participating camps , increase cross-cultural understanding, and provide ongoing assistance to international praticipants and camps.
As an ICCP -sponsored camp counselor or other staff member, you will be part of a group of over 2200 participants from all over the world who will be working in United States camps this summer.
